Dr. Mildred Howard holds an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from Georgia State University, a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Florida Atlantic University and a Doctorate from Liberty University in Professional Counseling. Dr, Mildred is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia (LPC#004112), a member of the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia, the American Association of Christian Counselors, the Georgia Christian Counselors Association, and the American Counseling Association.

Dr. Mildred has over 20 years experience working with families, children, adolescents, and teens. Dr. Mildred has worked in public school systems in both Cherokee and Cobb counties and is a former Teacher of the Year, Counselor of the Year, and Cobb/Marietta School Counselor’s Association Radiance Award recipient.

Dr. Mildred specializes in working with children, adolescents, teens, couples, and women.  She has experience with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, childhood disorders, family and parenting problems, women’s issues, and grief/bereavement.  Dr. Mildred uses Person Centered, Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy techniques.
